General interest State-owned daily. This is the only Angolan daily newspaper. The State has the monopoly on the press. This is also the newspaper hat is published with reliable frequency. Smaller weekly newspapers exist but they have a poor circulation and are often unreliable in publishing frequency. Although editorial content is controlled and biased in favor of the government, many Angolans rely on this newspaper as their source of information on national and international news.
