Gong Rádió

As the radio station of the city of Kecskemét, Gong Rádió first appeared on the airwaves in August 1995. Then only on an experimental basis during the Famous Days event series. At the beginning of January 1996, Gong Rádió Kft. was founded by the Municipal Government of Kecskemét County, a few local patriotic individuals and companies.  As of March 1, 2002, the National Radio and Television Board declared Gong Radio a network broadcaster.

Our radio can be heard not only on Fm 96.5 MHz, FM 93.6 MHz in Kecskemét and Nagykőrös and its catchment area (today on Gong FM), but also FM 99.6 MHz in Kecel, FM 94.1 in Solt MHz, and in Gyömrő on Fm 97.2 MHz, as well as in Csongrád County on Fm 87.6 MHz. In August 2010, Baja joined the Gong network; in this area, our program can be heard on FM 88.7 MHz.
